Is Fantagio the culprit? ASTRO fans reveal

ASTRO member Moon Bin tragically passed away at the age of 26 in his home. It has been over a month since his passing, and the cause of his death has not been publicly revealed. In response, some ASTRO fans have shared alleged information about Moon Bin's activities prior to his passing on online forums, while also accusing Fantagio, the management company, of being responsible.

Recently, ASTRO fans have been posting on forums to voice their grievances against Fantagio, the management company, highlighting seven major accusations. They emphasise that their intention is not to slander the company but to seek a reasonable explanation and clarification. Fans openly admit that they had previously shared their concerns but were compelled to delete their posts due to reports. However, this time, they assert firmly, 'Even if we continue to face reports, we will persist in sharing until the truth is unveiled.'

ASTRO fans on forums are expressing significant confusion regarding the handling of Moon Bin's cause of death by Fantagio, the management company. Fans express that apart from the undisclosed cause of death, they are particularly concerned about Moon Bin's demanding and intensive schedule prior to his passing.

Fans believe that in fact, as early as the morning of April 7th this year, Moon Bin had informed the management company about his poor health condition and symptoms such as dizziness before going abroad. However, the company only conducted a COVID-19 test and proceeded with the concert on April 8th. Furthermore, despite his deteriorating health, Moon Bin flew to Thailand on that day, performed in the concert, and participated in a live broadcast afterwards.

In addition, fans also mentioned that if Moon Bin had already expressed his physical discomfort earlier, why wasn't his schedule adjusted? Instead, he was allowed to continue working in a poor state. Fans also questioned the management company's failure to fulfil their responsibility in protecting the artist, as they allowed negative criticism to attack the artist and did not consider the artist's physical and mental well-being.

However, fans speculate that the reason behind Moon Bin's death being closely linked to the management company is due to the fact that ASTRO became the company's primary source of revenue after several artists under Fantagio left. Despite this, the company failed to fulfil its responsibility to protect the artists and even raised concerns of overworking. This has caused significant distress and heartache among fans.

Furthermore, what fans find most unacceptable is that the company cited the 49-day mourning period after Moon Bin's passing as the reason for not providing any news or response regarding the cause of his death. However, during this period, the company continued to upload other news and promotional posts for new artists, leaving fans lamenting, 'They even posted about promoting new artists within the 49 days. It's really excessive. Couldn't they endure for one more day?' 'I don't know about the others, but the schedule in Central and South America alone seems too extreme. Wasn't there any consideration for the time difference?'

Some fans even recalled the late actor Cha In-ha, who was also under the same agency, and how the company did not disclose the cause of his death at the time. As a result, fans commented, 'This company has already lost two artists of a similar age,' expressing deep regret.
